Turnstone

19th August - Little Marlow stalwart Alan S found a Turnstone this morning.  I don't often get the chance to visit the pit at weekends, but was around today, so made the quick trip around midday.  The juvenile Turnstone was showing well on the nearside of the spit, occasionally accompanied by a Common Sand and I grabbed a few record shots.
